Would you like to donate goods to Haiti?
Until Saturday 13 February, all British Red Cross shops around the UK are appealing for items to be donated specifically to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Appeal for Haiti. The British Red Cross do not send donated goods overseas, but money from the sale of these items will go directly to the Appeal. This is much more effective aid, as sending physical objects holds up vital supplies needed in the region.
Please click the link to find your local British Red Cross shop where you can donate items such as quality clothing, books and unwanted gifts: Find your nearest Red Cross shop.
Once a postcode is entered, the nearest shop is listed under the “support us” tab.
Any such stock that is unsaleable or remains unsold after this period will be recycled or sold to help raise funds for British Red Cross work.
