A great start to 2010…

Bupa care homes across the UK have taken part in fundraising events in support of Beating Bowel Cancer and the British Heart Foundation.  Homes helped to raise money for these worthwhile causes by holding a whole host of events including non-uniform days, cake sales, raffles and aerobic sessions. 2009 saw teams from Care Services’ central support office take part in a huge range of community challenges. From holding tea dances for older people and developing reading corners in schools to making over gardens and allotments and delivering Activ-eat, Bupa’s healthy eating programme to primary school children. Over 130 people from the Leeds office  (a record breaking 52% of you) helped make a huge difference to our local community!
